USUA Sport Pilot Transitioning Programs
Designed by Ultralighters for Ultralighters transitioning into Sport Pilot
Many of you have asked USUA to help provide local support with educational services such as
BFI clinics and Sport Pilot training programs. Well, here we go... USUA has put together several
options that will help satisfy the needs of our members, and provide just the type of information
and education you have requested. These programs range from the long-standing, and highly
successful USUA BFI Clinics (over the past 20 years, USUA has sponsored over 100 BFI
Clinic/Refresher courses & AFI Seminars), to newly developed Sport Pilot Ground School and
Workshops. All are presented by USUA Director (and Chief Seminar Presenter) Jim Sweeney
and his qualified staff of SweeneyCorp, and have been designed, supported and endorsed by
USUA.
USUA membership is not required to participate in these courses, but special pricing is provided
to USUA members as a member benefit for the Sport Pilot training courses.
